What is Hypnosis and how does it work?

Untitled design (15).png

Hypnosis is used to bypass conscious thought, move the “Critical Factor” aside, and reach the Subconscious mind. By working directly with the Subconscious mind, which is the seat of our emotional and creative mind, lasting, positive changes can happen.

Just as the cocoon served to protect the “Butterfly” within the Conscious mind and Critical Factor serve to protect us from perceived harm.

By utilizing Hypnotherapy we can free ourselves of the cocoon of false beliefs and thoughts, so that we can bloom into the beautiful butterfly that lives within all of us.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a natural, yet altered, state of mind with a deep level of focus. It is a way of teaching people to enhance control over their brains and bodies.

Does Hypnosis really work?

Hypnosis is not “magic.” In fact, results of 2006 Comparative Study by American Health Magazine show the following results:Psychoanalysis: 38% recovery after 600 sessions

How does Hypnosis work?

Hypnosis by-passes the “Critical Factor” of the Conscious mind to access and work with the subconscious mind, which is the seat of our emotional and creative mind. The conscious mind is always present, but not actively engaged during the hypnotic session. You are never lose consciousness. You are always in control. You will actually experience a relaxed, elevated state of awareness.

“Withdraw into yourself and look. And if you do not find yourself beautiful yet, act as does the creator of a statue that is to be made beautiful: he cuts away here, he smoothes there, he makes this line lighter, this other purer, until a lovely face has grown upon his work. So do you also: cut away all that is excessive, straighten all that is crooked, bring light to all that is overcast, labour to make all one glow of beauty and never cease chiselling your statue, until there shall shine out on you from it the godlike splendour of virtue, until you shall see the perfect goodness surely established in the stainless shrine.”
