Stop Drinking using Hypnotherapy

  • Events lead to beliefs

  • Beliefs lead to emotions

  • Emotions lead to symptoms and behaviors

When we experience trauma in our life, we, sometimes, try to suppress the hurt, fear, anger and pain inflicted upon us by using a substance to numb the negative feelings we are experiencing. This can lead to a habit that may be harmful to our bodies. When the trauma is addressed, healed and released, we are restored to a peaceful state. Being at peace, removes the "need" to self medicate and we are again in an emotionally balanced state.

Powerful Experience Shared!

“Cheryll has helped me so much in my short time knowing her. I started my search for hypnotherapy because I was tired of depending on alcohol to numb my anxiety. Initially I wanted to be hypnotized to stay away from alcohol. After talking with Cheryll we realized it wasn't the alcohol that was the problem but the trauma of my past experiences that needed to be addressed. Although skeptical I went in and it was one of the most amazing experiences that I ever had. I was nervous but Cheryll made me feel right at home from the beginning. She definitely makes it easy to talk and open up about things that I usually hide deep down. She helped me bring some issues I didn't even know I had to the surface so that they could finally be resolved. After just one session I immediately felt like a huge weight had been taken off my shoulders.

A month or so after our first session I had a bad experience happen to me and started to resort to drinking again to numb the pain. I contacted Cheryll and she made sure to get me in ASAP so we could deal with the trigger before I let it take over again. As usual she helped me find the root of the problem and find peace with the things I have no control over. I have and will recommend her to anyone who wants to be the best version of themselves possible. She is an amazing therapist with a loving soul who truly wants to help”.
